Here’s how it works:

Get everyone together.

I’ll guide you through posing, movement, and a few playful prompts. A walk, a spin, a squishy hug. There’s room for everyone’s personality here!

03.

Enjoy your photographs.

I’ll put together a gallery for you to choose your favorite 50 images. You get the final say! Then I’ll retouch each selected photograph by hand.

Hi, I’m Bekka.

A photographer and a mom who knows how quickly things change.

Our family of five calls Kasson home. I know how much it means to have photographs with everyone in them, including the person usually behind the camera.

With 18 years of experience and a photojournalism degree from Winona State University, I bring a trained eye and plenty of guidance. I’ll watch the light, fix that twisted necklace, and help everyone feel comfortable.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We’ll choose a spot together based on your family and the feel you want. I’m based in Kasson, MN and photograph families in Rochester, MN and the surrounding communities.

  • They don’t have to sit still the whole time! We can walk, move, and play. I’ll guide everyone along the way and make room for those little personalities. I have two littles and a teen, I get it!

  • Absolutely! I’ll tell you where to stand, what to do with your hands, and where to look. You don’t need to arrive knowing any of that.

  • Every final image is hand retouched. I also take time during your session to get the light right and adjust hair, clothing, and little details. I want your photographs to look like you.

  • Sneak peeks within a few days; full galleries in 3 weeks.

  • Minnesota weather happens. We’ll pivot to a covered spot or reschedule—no stress.

It’s your turn to be in the photos.
